A 325 GeV scalar resonance seen at CDF?    [PDF]

Krzysztof A. Meissner, Hermann Nicolai
We propose to identify the excess of events with four charged leptons at $E\sim 325\GeV$ reported by the CDF Collaboration with a new scalar particle characterized by a very narrow resonance of the same height and branching ratios as the Standard Model Higgs boson. We discuss possible reasons why the expected accompanying events with two charged leptons and missing energy or two jets may have escaped detection so far.
