Weyl meson and its implications in collider physics and cosmology    [PDF]

Gopal Kashyap
Local scale invariant theory leads to the existence of a new particle called the Weyl vector meson. In this theory, having only one scalar field, Higgs particle get eleminated from the physical spectrum. In generalized local scale invariant standard model having an additional real scalar field, Higgs particle remains in the spectrum and have coupling with Weyl meson. Weyl-Higgs coupling leads to interesting phenomenon in particle colliders as well as for certain range of coupling parameter Weyl meson acts as suitable candidate for dark matter and can solve the dark matter problem. Here we examine the possibe range of the coupling parameter and the mass of Weyl meson to solve the dark matter problem. We also find that in colliders we can have some signature of this vector particle for certain value of coupling parameter.
