Unlocking the Standard Model. II. 1 generation of quarks. Masses and
couplings

We continue investigating the Standard Model with two Higgs doublets for one generation of fermions advocated for in a previous work, using the one-to-one correspondence, demonstrated there, between their components and bilinear quark operators. We show that all masses and couplings, in particular those of the two Higgs bosons, are determined by low energy considerations. They definitely stay in the perturbative regime. The mass of the lightest Higgs (scalar singlet), very weakly coupled to all particles except u and d quarks, is m_s \approx g f_\pi m_\pi /(2\sqrt{2}m_W) \approx 33 KeV. The "quasi-standard" one has mass m_\xi \approx \sqrt{2} m_\pi. Their dependence on m_\pi, that is on quark masses, gives an indication concerning their evolution when more generations are added.
