Non-Conservation of (B-L) from Neutrino Seesaw    [PDF]

We show that the leptonic contribution to the (B-L) anomaly in the presence of both Dirac and Majorana mass terms for the neutrinos is modified by a finite term depending on the mixing angle between left-chiral and right-chiral neutrinos. It follows that the (B-L) current is no longer conserved for generic values of this mixing angle. Possible implications of this result are discussed.
